One-on-one instruction with woodworking power tools. In this single-session 2.5 hr class you will make a set of benches to bring home. You will use and gain competence with power drills, jigsaw, circular saw and miter saw. We will also discuss measuring, planning, and time saving techniques. The benches are a modern take on the Leopold bench design by Rogue Engineer. Contact Anna to schedule a class.

Students will learn to use several power tools and go home with benches or chairs that they’re proud to share with friends and family. I’ll be booking MAKER classes for Spring 2023, in Minneapolis and in Ely, MN. Construction Camp - DOG HOUSES

Construction Camp: Dog Houses. Campers learn the proper use of power tools and basic construction skills by building a dog house from a single sheet of plywood. Campers use a power drill, random orbital sander, cordless brad nailer, jigsaw, miter saw, hole saw, sewing machine, plus hand tools. Class emphasis is on gaining competence and confidence with the tools, creative problem solving, and taking pride in the process and the product. Registration limited to 4 campers. We will be working OUTSIDE, or in case of rain, in opened garage. For girl identified campers ages 12+. Contact Anna for sign-up. June 12-16, 2023, 10:15-1:45. Cost $275 per camper. We will be making 1 or 2 dog houses, depending on group size, experience level, and of course, pets!
